I recently ordered the 3/4″ dots in the following colors: White, Pink, Fluorescent Hot Pink, Fluorescent Red, Orange, Yellow, Fluorescent Yellow, Fluorescent Green, Light Green, Green, Sky Blue, Blue, and Purple.
I am using the dots to label different genres in my library, so having a wide variety of colors that do not look similar was important. I will be cutting the dots in half to make a half circle above the spine label representing the genre. Out of the colors I ordered the only ones that ended up looking too similar at a distance are the light green and fluorescent green. I was worried about the yellows being too similar, but they are distinct and work great. The yellow is more of a school bus yellow. Be warned, the fluorescent red is more of an orange.
As for function, they stick well on the books. I typically cover any labels I put on the spine with book tape, so I do not know how they stand up on their own.
